Congratulations to

Frau Lisa Bromenshenkel

our very first recipient of the coveted "Bigot of the Month Award!" We're certain that both she, and Capella University, must be very proud! Granted, it was a very tough choice to select the first winner of this award, (as there were so many other highly qualified candidates) but, we've got to admit, Bromenshenkel's asinine statements that appeared in Capella's propaganda (news release) of October 7, 2005 is what cemented her victory for this coveted prize!

Capella's drivel first appeared in Business Wire (October 8, 2005), and is disgustingly entitled, "Students with Disabilities Discovering Key to Academic Success is an Online Degree; October is National Disability Awareness Month." In that thoroughly revolting piece of propaganda, Bromenshenkel states:

""I have had students who have said that without an online education, they wouldn't have been able to go back to school."

Oh really, Lisa? What about your integral role in helping to get students locked out of their classes because you're too incompetent to understand the needs of those with disabilities? What about your personal role as one of Capella's gossip queens in which you disclose confidential information to anyone who will listen? What about your big mouth where you announce Capella's need to "close the loop" on those with disabilities who rightfully challenge your competence? Oh, we could go on...but, then again, all this and more will eventually come out in the lawsuit that you're part of!

While our first "Bigot of the Month Award" was a tough decision, as there are many other wusses at Capella University who were also contenders for this coveted prize, the fact remains that Bromenshenkel is one of the key bigots currently being sued for her personal role in ignoring the rights of students with disabilities, as well as retaliating against those who rightfully complain about her incompetence!
